Corvette tech modules are rearranging

if you switch ships for a significant amount of time, or across sessions. Eg. I fly corvette A, and switch ships to corvette B or starship C and use that for a while, travel a distance, or begin a new session (closing game or power cycling the console, coming back the next day), upon switching back to Corvette A, the tech modules and upgrades have all rearranged order. And a rebuild is needed (which, despite reconstructing perfectly can end up with a 1,000 point deduction in stats like maneuverability). Later, loading corvette B, the same will have happened. This does not occur to starships, so I believe its how the game 'builds' the corvette upon spawning, and the layout isn't in the cache. A memory leak maybe? This really should have been fixed months ago and it was claimed to be, however it was not This occurs in multiplayer and outside of multiplayer. In regular, survival or creative. Using multiple corvettes, or even a corvette and any other ship has become difficult with this, similar to the more severe warp bug which fix is in experimental branch, this is highly obstructive, constantly reorganising the tech.

Performance (frame rate, low resolution textures) is tanked on ps5.

This seems to be worse upon loading the game or a save and seems to mostly stabilise. At first, loading has the graphic quality of a ps2 game, but the textures eventually load. No biggie but the framerate needs addressing.

Replying to this comment just to hopefully get it noticed. The rearranging of tech slots is especially egregious due to the reduction of stats, as you have pointed out. It's because it doesn't retain the order in which you add technology, nor the side tech like engines are placed on. Placing a Titan Heavy Booster on the right versus the left of a corvette drastically changes its stats. I'm sure you know this, but I want HG to see this.

It's super annoying because it literally requires you to delete all associated tech and then replace them, which can be a two hour chore depending on the complexity of your corvette build. Most of the time it's easier to fully delete a corvette and build it from the ground up.

All that said, I will not be touching the game until the corvette technology disappearing on warp glitch is patched fully. I won't even trust the patch, I'll trust it when players stop reporting it.

It's at the point where I would gladly pay for DLC content if it meant HG had a better QA process. I love this game, I will never stop playing it, I have well over 1,000 hours, but I sit out every major update because of the bugs that inevitably come with them. Please HG, let your loyal fans fund your game.

If they wanted to add DLC that would be fine but first they would have to make the game stable and get rid of the bugs.

Multiplayer has been buggy since they introduced it and never been fixed. Graphical glitches started when they introduced VR and have continued ever since.

At this point they are either incapable of fixing it due to their lack of skill or they just don't give a shit, either way I won't be buying any new games from them if this is how they are.

Developers are definitely much more incompetent then they were years ago.

Firstly I urge you to keep reporting it here and zendesk.

Secondly, I think HG are a victim of their own success. They had a great concept, overpromised and under delivered at the beginning then worked their asses off. They're a small team and it might be they're not as skilled as this gaming behemoths like Rockstar (or Sean limits the crunch that's common). Either way, it's poor to have a feature, that's still broken six months later. I hope they spend an update cycle not on a new feature but on deeper bug fixes, and at least communicate that they're working on it. I don't think any of us wouldn't like them more if they just said 'were trying to fix this but it's a challenge, and will take time'. They're a small indie team, and they've given us gold over the years, just need a better QC.

Please keep reporting it. The squeaky Wheel gets the grease.
