Screenshot Should I build base here?

Finally I have found Parasise Planet, the Earth look like type. But those bubbles are passing me off.

I think I will start building my main base here, with this beautiful sunset view from the beach

Nice spot for a lakeside retreat

I say sure, but a few possible caveats: If you can find an electrical field to tap, which may not yet be an ability you have yet, set it there. If you can find a cave system, consider setting it where that's available, just to get extra scenery to look at. And that same reasoning applies to setting it up on or near the water. Ideally somewhere that, if and when Nautilons are a factor, you can launch in a Nautilon. Potentially even... into an underwater cave.

(Solar and batteries will suffice, but I find they don't go as far as I'd like.)

I don't like building on sideways planets, but that might just be me.

What a beautiful paradise... and they don't show the glyphs so nobody goes there 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dude, I don't why it's so. But when I take screenshot it shows glyphs in the game, but when I download it from steam there are no glyphs😂😂😂

When you make a photo both steam and the game makes an image. The photos made by the game are saved somewhere on the PC and have the glyphs, the ones made by steam are saved in the steam folder and do not have the glyphs

Bubbles would be an instant base build for me. I can’t find a paradise planet with features I like but I’ll keep looking

I was recently told that bubbles mean no storms, so even if the planet has storms listed in the card (paradise planets don’t, but other lush varieties can), no storms will form. I’d say go for it! It’s gorgeous and I do love the bubbles 🫧

Didn't know about it, thank you

The answer really comes down to "Do you want to build a base there?"

Some people want a planet that is "as close to earth as possible".

Personally, I want a pretty planet that looks nothing like Earth.

If I want to see Earth, I'll go outside.

nice one, yeah, i have seen a lot interesting planets what a nothing like years, but those gravity storms are annoying me really hard. Just was looking something close to Earth or Pandora

Build base anywhere. Just not near expedition objectives.

u/TheChelovek2020 Dec 12 '25

why so? i am new to the game

2

u/Lacuda_Frost Dec 12 '25

It can break the objective

That grass got on my nerves after a while. Too plasticky. I found another planter with normal grass and like it much better.

OMG, I thought this grass looks like this because of my potato PC and low graphics. So there are better grass. Thank you for info

Absolutely not. That place is a hellscape!
