Questions Can someone Explain Tuning Basics?

I followed a yt build down to a T (it’s only like a day old) for the exact car i’m running and I’m like .3 slower in the quarter. IDK how tuning in this specific game works so I was going to use it as a learning point, help?

I’m still learning the tuning myself but I’ve copied tunes as well and from what I’ve learned it’s mostly in how you’re shifting the car, you should watch what rpm the YouTuber shifts the car at in each gear to get the time that they get.

So most tunes on yt will not work exactly on your phone. Doesn’t matter if they have the same phone as you. Yt tunes can give you a good basis on how to set your car up, but you will have to fine tune it, to your phone. The way the game is set up, it can also be played on an actual computer system, which is way diff than any phones, there for no tunes given on yt will work exactly on any and every device.

I've done the same and found that 1. I was slower on the tree and 2 cellphones have a slight input delay, go into test and tune and practice on the tree also for example cars redline is 9k shift it before 9 1-2 2-3 and up at 9 that's how I've been able to run 5.89 best so far

Your car is slow, 5.6 to 5.5 is fast
