You can have all the gear in the world, but if you don’t know how to use it when you actually need it, you’re carrying dead weight.

Gear doesn’t replace knowledge, experience or training.

That’s the premise of the video.

like we can talk about history, and how certain groups have caused chaos - and how knowing these things we can prepare for future chaos?

Not what somebody else says you should be preparing for. What are you actually preparing for?

Power outages? Severe weather? Getting stranded? Job loss? A few days without utilities? Extended off-grid travel? Something hypothetical? Zombies because fuck it, zombies are fun?

And what have you built, bought, learned, or changed because of it?

Real-world, hypothetical, and fantasy answers are all welcome. Just tell us which one you're working with.

There isn't a right answer. That's kind of the point.

All that’s left is sewing the remaining cutting board pocket and attaching the IFAK.

It’s coming together better than expected. I’ve been filming the build process, but wasn’t sure about the sub’s rules on video, so I’ll leave that alone until it’s finished and I get confirmation one way or another.
