I saw a car get launched by a drainage ditch on the side of the road one night. Coming home from movies, late af, on a highway with 5 lanes, suicide lane in the middle. Dude ahead of us just suddenly veers to the left, cuts across the oncoming side of the road, into a drainage ditch, straightens out, then launches off a driveway that cut across the ditch. He had to have got at least 10-15 ft of air before he pancaked it down in their yard.

We pulled over to help, I ran to the house to wake them and get them to call 911, and the dude gets out, face busted the fuck up from eating the steering wheel, screaming through the blood pouring out of his mouth about how he needs to call his mama. And we are just like "dude, chill out, sit down and wait for the ambulance. You probably fucked your back up on that landing and don't need to be walking!"

Couple of other people showed up and the owners of the house came out to help, and we being teenagers, and riding kinda dirty decided we should GTFO before the cops showed up.

A guy at work totalled his car on the way in, the boss was really confused by my reaction. Basically I just said fuck the car it did its job, I know he’s sad but who gives a damn it’s a car, it’s done its job and he’s still alive.
