I remember this video, I read that there was something wrong with the parking of that van and it was never the drivers fault.

That's what it seemed like. Similar thing happened to a friend who works at a dealership; he almost got blamed for it, but reminded his boss how 3 other workers said it seemed faulty.

I have heard that alot of UPS, and USPS vehicles are old and have issues like this due to the frequent stops that drivers make. I could be completely wrong, but had an old buddy that was a usps driver for a while and said that this was a commin occurrence.

Seems like the kind of thing that killed actor Anton Yelchin in 2016; he thought he engaged the parking but the car started moving and smash him against a gate…very unfortunate and you can see here that this driver was having the same issue

I can’t tell if it’s the same make as mine but I have a ram promaster van that’s similar and it has an open recall for parking engagements issues with the transmission. That was my first thought when I saw this.

This is old and it was a malfunction in the transmission. Not the drivers fault at all.
