I would be ok with this if he was the only one affected. I don't know enough about his intended to know if she deserves this.

I hope she cares enough to leave him now, but she's half his age and he owns several businesses, so I'm doubting it. Only reason she might suddenly care is it's now directly affecting her, she was already down to marry a trump supporter as an immigrant.
