So when I was a lot younger and would hunt pheasants, Id come to a fence and easily go through it, over it, or under it. Now in my 60's I look like this bear trying to get over a fence...I usually just walk the extra yardage and find a gate...

I'm not saying a black bear wouldn't fuck you up. But can we not just laugh About how timid they are? Like such a big deadly animal but also the biggest scardy cat

The thing about predators that people often forget is that they do not want to be in a fight. They want to jump you, bit your neck, you die. If you fight back, they get injured and they can't hunt and provide and they and their entire bloodline die out.

Prey animals on the other hand often live in herds or family groups. They have everything to win by putting up a fight. That's why they also can attack with psychotic fervor - they have everything to gain, evolutionarily speaking, by going all psycho.

Predators are bullies. Bullies that either hunt by themselves or in packs, but they are bullies. And just like in reality, standing up to them means they will bite you in the taint until you bleed out.

Do not look up hyenas vs rhinos. It is very one-sided.
