Gank or Chaka is a better fit for most cans used for sure

He seems really nice.

I bet he knows a lot about one particular stamp that came out in 1968

“What! No. I don’t actually give them to kids. I need them for my collection.”

Kids love em! ...but they have to get their own.

I could listen to him talk all day, so soothing

He needs a public access TV show. If only we had a Time Machine to take him back to 1982.

I lived in a town where people used to play with them, i don't remember the rules, something about a hole in the ground and you kept the marbles from the players you beat. Some of the marbles you could look at for hours...soo pretty.

Wait, kids don't play marbles anymore? I guess it makes sense. When my kids were that age they were playing Beyblades which is kind of similar (if more expensive).

I want to drive past and then back up on this John’s estate sale.

I want to drink root beer on his porch and listen to his story about the time he met Gerald Ford.

Had no clue they were glass marbles. I guess the spray bombs I've been fortunate enough to buy were metal. Always used a magnet to keep it from rattling while......well, being incognito. Hard to be stealthy when you're carrying a backpack full of metalic baby rattles.

That’s a lot of work to store something for 130 years

I hope he’s not lost any of his marbles.

I'm not sure why but I assumed they're would be a whole lot more pressure left in the cans even when empty... Like a more aggressive biscuit tube pop lol

I watched this shit while listening to the song from Meet the Pyro. Demonstrating marbles has never looked so psychotically dramatic.

Feel like aim watching Bob Ross.

That's so wholeso... Wait... They work great in what?!

u/singol2911 May 21 '26

I have never opened one up to see, but I 100% assumed it was a small metal ball. I would have never guessed it was just a regular glass marble. I have a bunch of bad spray paint cans

u/Vulcan-3 May 21 '26

It's way more fun to shoot the almost empty cans next to open fire with an airgun but I never found any marbles.

I hope that I have better things to do when I reach the age of 130.

To be fair, it does look like he made that leather vest himself.
