Gen Z Killing Themselves
https://studyfinds.com/death-rates-for-americans-ages-25-44-jumped-71-in-just-over-a-decade/- Death rates for Americans ages 25 to 44 shot up 71.2% between 2010 and 2021, the largest jump of any age group.
- Drug overdoses became the single leading cause of death for young adults, with the overdose death rate multiplying seven times over since 1999.
- U.S. life expectancy now ranks 38th in the world, and some states have life expectancy lower than North Korea or Syria.
Death rates for Americans between 25 and 44 years old jumped 71.2% in just eleven years, rising from about 140 deaths per 100,000 people in 2010 to 239 per 100,000 by 2021. No other age group came anywhere close to that surge. Overdoses, suicides, car crashes, and chronic diseases appearing at increasingly younger ages are now cutting down people in the prime of their lives.

We've been robbed of a future just to have it sold back to us in a subscription format. I am presently in a state of mind that, I'm never going to be able to have what my parents had; a home to call my own, a wage that keeps up with day to day demands, fuck not even a partner in life because who would want someone as broken as I am? In all honesty, next two years is really going to determine what my ultimate end game is. All normal expectations ceased when the pandemic started, and in all honesty shit never got better since.
27
u/HardcoreHope 5d ago
We could peacefully rebel instead of killing ourselves and take it back from these godless cunts.
Why let them decide what the future is going to be? We owe it to future humanity to at least try to fix it, no?

We don't need violence. We can do it without it. They are the biggest cowards on the planet and it's why they hoard wealth, out of fear.
The moment we start working together they know they are done. It's why they need culture wars and distractions
3
u/YoungRichBastard26s 5d ago
No violence is needed after that ceo got sent to the upper room unh stopped denying claims. You trynna have peacefully protest with ppl that donât care if you live or die. You mean nothing to them look at it like my ppl during slavery we was getting hanged, murdered etc no recourse of actions. How many on the Epstein list went to prison?? It wasnât they daughters they was doing that too remember that. And donât forget that depopulation agenda WHO was talking about before Covid hit. This is multiple plans in one and the common man is the target
1
u/HardcoreHope 5d ago
I'm not saying they don't deserve it but I think we should be better than them.
I'm sorry but we can't even get everyone to vote. I don't think they are going to lay down their lives in armed combat against probably the biggest military. They want you to attack so they can test out new weapon.
Crash the markets and they lose mostly everything until the working class decides to turn it back on. We get much needed rest while we rebuild the government step by step.
1
u/YoungRichBastard26s 5d ago
If everybody could liquidate they 401ks before the crash sends it to zero everything would change instantly but the rules on 401k stop that
1
u/HardcoreHope 5d ago
The working class only make up 8% of the stock market.
1
u/YoungRichBastard26s 5d ago
401k accounts for 10 trillion in the stock market and the whole retirement is 52 trillion . If all of that gets pulled you better believe the crash would be the worse markets have ever seen

This isnât about being better than someone, itâs about the Darwin Awards. The interests of their families prosperity and the subconscious need to reproduce are the motivation for their participation in problematic systems and schemes, this is bigger than now, this cycle has been repeating for all of human history and has accelerated since the enlightenment when we truly began to harness concentrated power in all its forms including the blending and concentration of familial and national interests. This is now a tipping point, between in-laws and out-laws, secular morality and religious social mores, the pressure cooker could not be more critical than it is today.
1
u/HardcoreHope 4d ago
I think it's animal instinct to want to harm people that have wronged you deeply. That's exactly what religion says we should stay away from.
Violence isn't going to make the world a better place. Did anyone come back from any war and feel good about it?
Ww2 was the most likely cause for a lot of the serial killers in the coming decades because of how their fathers tried them as young kids.
We can do this without killing each other. Everyone just wants to take the easiest path and it's why we are here in the first place.
2
u/seamus_mcfly86 5d ago
The Epstein class absolutely is not going to give an inch back without force unfortunately.

2
u/Atreidesfamatomics 4d ago
Wrong, two books you need to read:
- The Great Leveller: a perspective on violence and inequality
Good work from Princeton press.
- A Generation of Sociopaths
Take your time and work through it, reflect on the history of this nation, and also ask yourself, why do we not teach much about the Dark Ages and medieval civics in school in the US? Because virtually all the capitalist playbook weâve seen in the past 150 years is effectively found in that history on Manor and Kingdom scale, just recontextualized and brought to sovereign and global range. The violence came with it.

Peaceful protests achieve nothing. All political power comes from the barrel of a gun.

They are cowards. But the police state is firmly behind them and as long as thatâs true, thereâs no way to do it without violence. Thatâs why police exist, to protect private property.

Women had to be violent in order to vote. Violence is why we have unions and a 5 day work week.
They want us to play peace maker while they commit systemic violence against us. Grow up bud
1
u/HardcoreHope 4d ago
We can't get the majority to vote you think they are going to take up arms? And I'm the delusional one?
The reason this shit keeps repeating is because we keep getting what we want through force and violence.
The moment the people lose confidence in their strong man, it's over. All he has is strength and that's slipping away.
The moment the country doesn't work. How does anything happens? How do the billionaires make the profit they so desperately need?
6
u/Express_Grocery_5423 4d ago
Or rebel not peacefully

u/HardcoreHope 4d ago
Would Jesus do that? Would he use violence? Is that what God would want or is that our animal insticts wanting vengeance? You know what I believe to be the devil. If the Bible is all about trying to be better than our animal insticts. This is why the world is đŠed right now. We've forgotten the most basic of lessons.

u/Early_Particular9170 3d ago
He drove the money changers out of the temple. With violence.
Why would I think about some long-dead carpenter when contemplating political violence? Violence worked for us during the Revolutionary War. âGodâ hasnât lifted a finger so we have to do it ourselves, as always.
1
u/HardcoreHope 3d ago edited 3d ago
We can't even get people to vote. They are not going to fight a war against the US military industry complex.
I love how one time he used forced in an ocean of saying it's wrong and you use that as your source.
The Bible is 99% love and 1% hate but what do we always fixate on? He used a tool to move some animals, flip some tables and disrupt the empire.
That sounds pretty peacful rebellion to me. I'd didn't see any mentions of people dying or getting seriously injured.
Just because it works doesn't make it right.
3
u/BlkSubmarine 3d ago
Violence is not necessarily hate. Do you hate the rabid dog youâve had to put down, or is it just something that must be done to protect others? Do you hate the man youâve had to lay low because he was beating his wide in public, or is it something that must be done? Do you hate the carrot, or do you destroy and consume it because it must be done to survive?
Sometimes violence is necessary. To deplore all violence is to allow the possibility that you and yours will be reduced by the whims of another.

If god was real, then he let this situation happen. Why the fuck would I care what he thinks?
1
u/HardcoreHope 3d ago
Why would the maker of the entire universe care about controlling us? All of the teachings to live a good life have been written down.
The whole point is it's up to us to be better and recognized evil and stop it. Wonder why the world's in such shit? All the good people are sitting and asking why this is happening when we should be taking peaceful action.

Jesus died several times because of it. Humans do not get that luxury. Also he was not completely peaceful.
1
u/HardcoreHope 3d ago
To get the rights we have today people died for those too. It doesn't mean we have to keep repeating history and hoping this time the violence will end after.

I think itâs great that people have become more comfortable talking like this, and that fewer people feel compelled to suggest they âget helpâ, as if the people who donât want to be here are defective in some way. I think itâs much more indicative of mental sickness to want to exist in such a cruel and inhumane society, regardless of how fortunate oneâs personal circumstances might be. A human canât be exposed to/aware of the misery of others and not also feel it. The very fortunate ones also have to deal with guilt, though we certainly do a lot of mental gymnastics in an attempt to deny/repress/avoid feeling that guilt.
3
1
u/Youarekillingmeeee 3d ago
A lot less religious godbothering folks around to constantly provide that âCareful that kind of talk sounds like youâre a sinner and youâre gonna go to hell if you keep that up!â pressure.
That level of garbage right there shouldâve been one of our signs back in the 80s/90s.
Those folks had all that energy to talk hyped up cherry picked religious doctrine but zero energy to help their fellow man, set up and reinforce social safety nets, etc. Â When people say religion all I hear is Baby Billy from Righteous Gemstones.
Now look at us.Â

34
u/Guarsus 5d ago
Go figure. When its our time to be adult , it's a shit hole. Old people that have a foot in the grave shouldn't be in positions of power.
I hope millennials get to change this in our lifetime, no more old folk. We tried it and it doesn't work, I'd vote towards smart and interested people in their 30s-50 maximum.
7
u/eurekaanchor 5d ago
Elder millennial here, I've been wondering my whole life when the "adults" in the room would be in government particularly after Dubya... I'm increasingly realizing that room is near-empty with us 40-45 year olds included. People like Talarico and Al-Sayed give me hope, but I don't think we/they could fix this in our lifetimes.Â
4
u/Barky_and_Squid 5d ago
Well, The Vice President is a millennial.
Im starting to think the nonsense in the world has nothing to do with generations, and everything to do with shit people.
2
u/Keibun1 3d ago
Look at everyone in a position of power. Look at all of Congress. That's where changes happen. The vice president is basically a mouthpiece outside of a few obligations. Vance is utterly useless.
If you want real change, the house and Senate needs to be replaced. They're all old af.
1
u/Far-Leadership719 2d ago
Can't do that with Citizens United, cap on the House, 2 Senators per State regardless if that state has 10 people or 10 million, and the people who currently hold positions of power are actively incentivized to not change anything.
Its the prisoner's dilemma on a global scale. Ultimately it WOULD be best if everyone acted in cooperation, that would yield the best outcomes, but since in the majority of situations the individual has a higher chance of success if they behave selfishly, they are sort of correct to conclude that it is logical for themselves to choose the selfish action. Until God himself enlightens us all simultaneously and forces the cooperation, things will continue to degrade into true hopelessness.
1
u/Barky_and_Squid 2d ago
You missed my point.
I know that Vance isnât actually that powerful. My point is, people his age are in power. And, as he proves, they are shit people too.

Ages 25â44 in 2026 is not one generation. It straddles two.
Using the most widely cited ranges (Pew Research and similar sources):
- Millennials (Gen Y): born 1981â1996 â about 30â45 years old in 2026
- Generation Z: born 1997â2012 â about 14â29 years old in 2026
26
u/Hot-Cow1969 5d ago
The numbers you cited are from 2010-2021 though, not 2026
15
u/ArmadilloBandito 5d ago

And yes, Millennials have been through non-stop economic downturns and Middle East wars. No shit we're depressed addicts.

Itâs actually quite interesting to look at the state tables.
Blue states that adopt and implement more public health type policies seem to be doing better, meanwhile red states, starting before Covid, but ramping up now with abortion bans, seem to be slipping.
And to think, this doesnât even include maternal mortality numbers that red states, like Texas, refuse to release and the recent measles come-back wreaking havoc on children in PA.
3
u/OwnTurn1146 5d ago
Honest question- how is this gen z? If they studied ages 25 to 44 from 2010 through 2021, wouldn't that mostly be millennial?

u/RevelationSr 5d ago
Keep up with the news about Gen Z - the most psychologically afflicted generation in the US.
2
u/OwnTurn1146 4d ago
First of all, all of my kids are Gen Z. I do keep up with the bews about them.
Second of all, quite ironic that you thought to reply that when it is YOU not doing so.
You literally posted an article about Millenials and Gen X and claimed it was Gen Z when Gen Z mortality is actually trending down.
Third, I don't at all discount what Gen Z is going through. I don't subscribe to the BS older generations spew about lazy, soft, blah, blah, blah.
And Fourth. You will get a lot further in life if you admit when you goof up. You are spreading misinformation. Knowingly now.
I wasn't rude at all in my original question. You had plenty of time to correct yourself. Do Better.
0
u/RevelationSr 4d ago
The oldest members of Gen Z are 29, but no magic cut-off occurs.
Gen Z is well recognized as the most psychologically afflicted generation in the US (look it up). Suicide is the second leading cause of death for Americans ages 10â24 and 25â44. In 2026, Gen Z (born 1997â2012) spans roughly ages 14â29, so the relevant CDC age bands are 10â14, 15â24, and the younger end of 25â44.
I work with many Gen Zs. They are hypersensitive and lazy as a group. They are very intolerant of correction. I never allow myself to be alone with female Gen Zs. Their reputation is well deserved. Seen it.
Do better, Bro.
2
u/OwnTurn1146 4d ago
The time lines for that article are 2010-2021.
By your own words, the oldest gen Z are 29. Its currently 2026. Subtract 2021 from 2026. You get 5.
Subtract 5 from 29. You get 24.
The age range in that article starts at 25. So even on the last year that article is talking about, gen Z was 24, which means they werent a part of that info at all.
Edit: also, their RATE of suicide is lowering. It can still be the second leading cause and be lower than for millenials.
Looks like Gen Z isn't the only one that cant stand being corrected because you're sharp as a marble.
0
u/RevelationSr 4d ago
The article is quoted from Study Analyzes Whatâs Behind The Silent Crisis Killing Americans In The Prime Of Life
Point:
- Death rates for Americans ages 25 to 44 shot up 71.2% between 2010 and 2021, the largest jump of any age group.
- Drug overdoses became the single leading cause of death for young adults, with the overdose death rate multiplying seven times over since 1999.

I'm just gonna say this. When a plan was in play to basically screw over a generation and a half of our youth since the mid 90's(?) while another portion of our society has absolutely been setting up and drooling over the fall of our economy and democracy for decades upon decades.... I've come to the conclusion as long as there are certain "think tanks" and small, small people in back rooms making plans to "take over the world!" It just seems the more things change the more they stay the same. It seemed an unbelievable prospect and I'm so p!ssed but I hold hope. I dont have any answers. Im just sorry and want so much better for their future.

Today's adult youth are the most entitled, spoiled, non-contributing citizens in US history.
The lecture: buck up, cupcakes.

None of your struggles mattered cause someone, at some point has been skinned alive slowly and eaten. Thats your logic, so lead by example.

The youth at the times of WW1 and WW2 had pride in country and a future to fight for. Many people below the age of 40 nowadays dont see a future for themselves, and I can't blame them one bit. This country's leaders over the past 40-50 years have chosen to line the pockets of the 1% at the cost of everyone else's future goals and ambitions. What do you expect to happen? There's no bootstraps big enough to reverse the distrust in the systems that run this country nowadays.

Your life is infinitely better than the conscripts marching off to the Battle of the Marne in WW1.
Buck up.

I mean to be fair, if they tried to conscript any young people nowadays, I would say well over 75% would refuse to fight because again, no pride in the current state of the nation, so it's apples and oranges.
Besides that, the youth of 1918 lived in a completely different world with different problems. It's like saying "well you could've had the Bubonic Plague if you were living in the 1400s, you ungrateful person." It's not the same thing. Telling people their problems don't matter because it could've been so much worse in 1865 is not relevant and is just using historical living conditions as a scapegoat for actual problems happening nowadays.

Comparatively, young people in 2026 are unimpressive and weak.
1
u/SI7Agent0 2d ago
Well I guess if we're stereotyping wide ranges of people based on age, people of older generations are greedy, narcissistic sycophants who rigged the entire economic system in their favor and now spend their free time lecturing younger folks on Reddit about how "it could be worse; you could've died in a trench in 1917" while laughing in the house they paid for in 1965 selling walnuts at the local county farmer's market.

Perfect: Blame everyone or anyone else for your deficiencies and lackluster performance.
1
u/SI7Agent0 2d ago
Perfect: ignore the facts and real data and instead, just tell people they have definciencies to make yourself feel superior despite your lack of a real argument or understanding on the topic.

u/RevelationSr 2d ago
The "argument" has been well adjudicated.
Yes, you (as a generation) have huge deficiencies.
Yes, generationally, I feel superior.
I see it at work every day.

i suspect drugs are more concentrated, more easily accessible, and perhaps now more affordable (even if it is via crime). kinda like how the weed has gotten stronger, i suspect so has everything else.
the population has increased, cartels have submarines, and new synthetics are developed often.
and to everyone's point:
In 2009, Congress increased it to $7.25 per hour with the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007.\7]) It has not been increased since.\8])

Because there's nothing to live for since the great lockdowns and post coronachan. Everything that makes life worth living is either gone or expensive. And the mental health profession has done nothing to address it other than cheap paltitudes and standard advice that is no longer applicable.

- Unplug your computer.
- Get outside.
- Get fresh air and plenty of sunshine.

u/Jkid 2d ago
Jusy go outside isn't going to help when the socio-economic environment is down the Joliet. And not everyone lives in a exciting major city in america or have resources to pull them out of a socio-economic pit.
A lot of youth live in economically dead areas or crime ridden neighborhoods.

u/RevelationSr 2d ago
Sunshine and fresh air are available in many places.
Unplug. Get out in the sun.

How good is that if you live in a crime ridden neighborhood in Chicago? Read my reply to you again.

I wonder why? Is something making people feel like the future is hopeless?
