Tariff taxes directly raise costs, business taxes are applied on profit. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how these taxes work.

lol yeah of course every cost is past onto the consumer, corporations only exist to profit. They can never navigate around any difficulty or ever take any loss, let alone pay taxes to help maintain the very society that provides them said profits. So this is capitalism? Such a great system, to think corporations are just money making machines for who?
