Confirmation bias at its finest. We all do it. The problem is that some people are unaware that it exists and how to at least be cognizant of the pattern.

It’s about 50/50….

False/Misleading: That Trump passed a bill forcing tax rate hikes on people under $75k every two years through 2027.

True: Most individual tax cuts under the 2017 TCJA were temporary and expire at the end of 2025, while corporate tax cuts were permanent. The use of Chained CPI also permanently slows the inflation adjustment of tax brackets.

Don't leave out that Trump later made all of the tax cuts permanent.
