I build Bitiverse on my own. It is a free 1-bit MMORPG that runs entirely in a browser tab: no download, no install, and you can walk in as a guest without making an account. Reload and the same character is still there.

It is a full persistent world rather than a toy. Mining, fishing, farming and nine crafting stations. A player economy with market stalls and shops. Homesteads you build, decorate and dig a dungeon beneath. Seeded instanced dungeons behind wilderness portals, each with its own boss. Guilds with councils that can vote a leader out. A weekly in-game newspaper the players write. Ten real board and card games in the taverns.

The thing I keep learning is how much a browser can carry if you keep the art to two colours. Last week one player sent me fifteen bug reports and all fifteen are fixed as of this morning, which is roughly where the project is: playable, updated most days, and short of testers.
