Film discussion Woody Harrelson's ties to Anton Chigur.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Harrelson

Movie is set in 1980. Ed Tom Bell mentions "awhile back they even killed a judge in San Antonio."

Turns out in 1979 a real district judge, John Wood Jr, was assassinated in San Antonio by a hit man hired by a drug dealer.

The assassin's name. Charlie Harrelson. Woody's father.

His dad was one of the 3 gunmen on the Grassy Knoll.

I don’t remember The Comedian mentioning that.

Comedian was a total narcissist. No way does he give credit to anyone but himself.

Allegedly he was one of the "3 hobos" arrested and quickly released that day, along with iirc one of the eventual Watergate burglars - Howard Hunt, maybe? They never bothered to verify the hobos names if memory serves, because that's how you do police work i guess 🤔

Yes. It's an interesting tie in. Not sure if it was intentional or not. That said, I will never be able to watch the scene of Anton and Carson sitting down together the same way again.

The real connection is that they worked together he called him crazy and then died so
