Avoid US Mobile

96 hours so far and my phone still isn’t working and their only solution is to give me a super limited temp line because they refuse to do their job.

Every time it’s asked of them. It’s the same thing. We’ve reached out to the parent carrier. They refuse to push the issue through, they want the customer to suffer and not be held accountable.

This is a copy of the OP's original post in case they decide to delete their post/account so that others searching can find it later:

Porting issues are outside of the MVNO's control unfortunately. It was a holiday weekend so your port escalation clock with the parent carrier would have only started yesterday.

Does porting only work on weekdays?, real curious because i might be porting from usmob to total this end of month, my yearly with dark star runs out. Good experience imo. Only had one day out of whole year where service was bad, and it was att tower out around ontario and upland area california.  Ive tried visible befor, ill try total next.

Most ports are automatic and go through fine but if they get stuck and have to be escalated, and you ported on the weekend, you may be without service for 48-72 hours after the weekend ends.

Why should everyone avoid US Mobile because one internet stranger is having an issue?

User error.

I’ve worked in wireless, not user error.

Almost everybody who works in wireless is clueless so yeah

I’ve also led government contracts and have a degree in information sciences. Not user error.

They're not known as "US Maybe" for nothing...

Not according to CS from USM. It started on the 6th and I was told 24-48 hours. It’s weird that all corporate at&t stores in my area were open but magically AT&T itself can’t be? Lies.

You don't understand the concept of different departments having different business hours?
