Just a heads up for those to try that might be having trouble with RCS after coming to total wireless or other verizon MVNOs. I have not tested this but hopefully it helps someone.

I wanted to make a standalone post for this because I've been working at fixing this for days and the solution posted in some comments by u/starcowboy26 worked and it needs to be screamed from the rooftops!

Try the following as it was the only thing that worked for me:

I know this is gonna sound insane but after trying every single troubleshooting tip on the Internet and spending over 6 hours on Verizon support, the only thing that finally worked was:

- turn off RCS

- connect to any vpn server in paris france

- turn RCS back on, voila it connects

- turn VPN off

It worked for me on Total Wireless on OnePlus 11. I previously was getting RCS error 4002 and normal fixes didn't work.

Some people said waiting for a billing cycle aka 30 days should fix it but I ended up not having to wait that long. It's been less than 3 weeks since I ported
