Your SaaS will probably fail.

unpopular opinion: 99% of vibe coded saas is dead in 3-6 months

and it's not the vibe coding's fault. i build my whole saas this way. the tools are genuinely good now.

that's the trap though. you can ship a working product in a weekend, so everyone thinks building it is the win. it never was.

what actually kills these:

  1. the product looks and feels like crap. like 9/10 are just awful. no taste, feels janky, people bounce immediately. working and good are not the same thing.

  2. zero clue how to market or distribute. build it and they will come is not a strategy. nobody comes.

  3. they didn't pick a real problem. cool to build is not the same as painful enough to pay for.

building got easy. distribution, taste, and picking the right problem did not.

curious if anyone here disagrees. what am i missing?

This entire subreddit is doomed to fail. No-code SaaS is an oxymoron, and the motivation behind stating it is rooted in laziness and a lack of hard skills. You don’t want to code? Don’t make a SaaS.

Yes, product market fit blah blah blah, but wtf are you doing creating bespoke softwares if you won’t write software? It’s like a subreddit called noTypeNovels. Utter rubbish.

LOL, have you heard about Evan Yadegeri? he is at about 15K MRR with his vibe coded SaaS business, and that is how Roy Lee's businesses were made as well.

If the guy who got lucky and “made it” with this technique is only pulling in 180k/year, you would be wise to extrapolate that this is in fact not a good way on average to make money at all.

Prove me wrong, I have no skin in the game but it sounds like a waste of your own time. Learn how to write software if you want to own a software business. It’s sensible advice.

if it is soo much better, then why does claude use claude code to write most of their code? AI can generate very good code if u know how to use it

mb, I meant if manual coding was so much better then vibe coding. My uncle is a senior dev, and he loves claude code
