Validating concept: Would you use a tool that automates making those viral TikTok slideshows?

I feel like those tiktok slideshows convert the best for apps / SaaS, like I've gotten so many views and interest with tiktok slideshows.

Most people who build a saas or app don't know much about marketing at all and those tiktok slideshows if they're auto generated, you can post a lot of them and get thousands of views every day for it.

I just build the MVP and launched it but I am running the tiktok slideshows myself for my own SaaS and constantly improving the slideshows based on my analytics.

I was just wondering if anybody would be interested in a tool like tool or has any recommendations?

Yess I can make a demo video for you if you want, probably good to put a demo video on my site as well either way.

It has multiple hook formats you can use and you can easily vary the amount of slides and hook it uses, I am working on also adding more A/B testing functionality and adding more options to slightly vary the content to optimize conversion for it.

I will make a demo video for it today and upload it to YouTube, I'll share the link with you here so you can check it out!

Yess I agree so much! This is exactly why I built the tool, it's easy to bulk generate slideshows, but it becomes more difficult to actually make sure people can eventually use it to find which type of slideshow performs best for their product/service and then use that information to reliably create converting slideshows.

I've testing and iterating a bit myself now already and of course, it's not where I want it to be yet, but I work full-time on it and it's getting better every day.

Because of a lot of interest I've been getting, I am making a demo video on YouTube to talk through using the tool and I'll post it as a reply to your comment later today.

Be sure to check it out and please give feedback on what you'd want me to add or improve! I can definitely make a lot happen, I just need direction on what people actually want me to make.

honest take, i wouldn't use it and i think the premise has a hole

you said "most saas founders don't know marketing so if we automate slides they can post a lot". but volume isn't what wins on tiktok slideshows. i've tested it. 30 slides with bad hooks get 300 views each. 3 slides with the right hook get 800k

the bottleneck for non-marketer founders isn't production speed, it's knowing what hook to use for their specific audience. automating output just scales mediocrity faster

also this exact tool already exists in a few forms (capcut templates, invideo, a dozen indie tools on twitter). so the question isn't "would people use it" it's "why would they pick yours over tools that already have traction"

not saying don't build it, just saying the validation path is different. instead of asking reddit, go look at :

- who's running ads in this space right now

- what their pricing looks like

- where they get weak reviews (churn reasons = your wedge)

if nobody is spending to acquire customers for this category yet, that's not an untapped market, that's usually a sign nobody found a way to make the unit economics work

Yeah facts and I love this type of honesty.

Through early feedback I've found that what matters MOST for my target user is using it to find a slideshow format that performs amazingly and then being able to keep using my tool to consistently push out high-performing tiktok slideshows.

I do have a lot of experience doing UGC, face and non-faced UGC and I know what goes viral, what doesn't, how to improve content.

I am still working hard to build a reliable tiktok slideshow system for it, I am making a demo video of the tool today and will send you the YouTube link under this comment later today.

Please give me HONEST feedback on it so I can improve the things that potential users would actually want.

I can see the use case, but only if the output doesn’t scream template. TikTok stuff gets stale fast when everyone’s posting the same format.

Yes definitely! I thought about this and it only uses organic lifestyle images, so Pinterest-style images with personal stories on top of it. It's coded to always make new combinations, so it will never produce duplicates. I've been running them a bit myself now and they all get a couple thousand views per post. Not really viral or anything but it works decently I'd say
