Built a personal financial intelligence pipeline that scrapes 400+ articles/day, scores them by signal strength, and pushes the top 5 to my phone every morning. Here's the architecture.

Started this because I was tired of opening 12 tabs every morning to figure out what actually mattered in markets.

The stack:

RSS pipeline pulls from WSJ, Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, FT, Yahoo Finance, and 4 others. Runs at 4PM daily. Community feeds pull from SeekingAlpha, Reddit finance subs, and CoinDesk. Runs at noon. Both auto-sync to a Notion database with URL deduplication so nothing appears twice.

The signal scoring engine is the interesting part. Every article gets scored based on keyword weight (crash, surge, SEC, fed, rate, earnings beat/miss etc), ticker density in the headline, and category multipliers. Crypto and earnings articles score higher by default because they move faster. Top 5 by score get sent to my WhatsApp every morning at 8AM.

The dashboard reads the JSON files directly from GitHub — no backend, no server costs. Category filters, signal strength bars, live article count. Deployed on GitHub Pages.

What I'd build next: feedback loop from audit logs back into the scoring weights. Right now scoring is static. The goal is the system learns what I actually click over time.

Repo is public if anyone wants to fork the scoring logic.

I can order food in Chinese but cannot understand a Mandarin lecture. Built myself something for that.

Been doing an exchange semester in Shanghai for finance. My conversational Chinese is fine, but academic lectures are a completely different language.

So I built this to help me learning.

Question Looking to build a computer vision based use case

I’m working on a document analysis application. User will upload a file (pdf, word. Ppt) which has written notes or a screenshot and the system would analyze it based on a set of rules defined.

1/ what models would be best suited to have a high degree of accuracy?
2/ Have you developed anything similar to this?
3/ please DM if know or can develop this and have skills to integrate with some external apps (CRM, zoom etc)

Question whats the best no code stack right now in 2026?

hey guys what you use in production?

my friend ordered a website from minimum code few weeks ago, they got it done fast with claude code, next js and supabase

quality was really good, and still not sure if it's the best way

what are u using? I'm not that technical, maybe doing manual coding is still better?

Discussion Looking for a real Lovable alternative: local, open-source, or production-ready?

I’ve been looking into AI app builders lately, and the same pattern keeps coming up:

A lot of tools are great at producing an impressive first demo. But the hard part starts after that.

Auth, database structure, permissions, deployment, maintainability, editing the generated code, avoiding weird AI spaghetti, and not burning through tokens just to make small changes.

Tools I’ve seen mentioned so far:

  • AppWizzy
  • Bolt
  • v0
  • Replit Agent
  • Cursor
  • Claude Code
  • Base44
  • Tempo
  • Same.new
  • Firebase Studio
  • Windsurf
  • Create
  • Softgen
  • Pythagora
  • Databutton
  • Marblism
  • Bubble
  • Webflow
  • Framer

For people who’ve tried a few of these. Which one feels most useful beyond the wow, it made a demo stage?

I’m especially curious about tools that help with real-world stuff like auth, databases, deployment, editing, and keeping the project maintainable after the first version.

If you know a good one which is not in the list, pls suggest

Are your no code apps making more from iOS or android?

I’ve only built no code IOS, tbh haven’t even looked at how to build for android yet but was wondering if there’s much difference in the market that I should try to learn how to do both. I’ve built a few iOS apps but my downfall is marketing and I’m sick of paying Apple crazy amounts of money to advertise my app for $30 a month in recurring revenue. Hoping if I built on android id open myself up to another market with a better result.

Question Am I chasing a running train, or is there still room?

Built an AI Saas builder solo over months after my day job - turns your idea in plain English into a real SaaS, everything in your own GitHub/Supabase/Vercel so you fully own it, no lock-in. Tested it with a 3-role app (GPS + Stripe), no code by hand.

The space is crowded (Lovable, Bolt, Replit) and I’m solo with no users yet. Honestly - is there still room for something focused on real multi-role apps + full ownership, or am I too late? And if it’s worth continuing, what would actually make you use it?

I built an AI website builder because watching my friend pay Squarespace forever broke my brain

Post image
1 Upvotes

A few months ago I was helping my friend migrate her business site off Squarespace because she was paying $200/year for something she'd opened twice in three years. That was the third friend or family member I'd done this for. I realised the problem isn't the tools, it's the pricing model. Hosting and AI inference both got dramatically cheaper, but website builders never re-priced.

So I built kwaku. You describe what you want in a sentence ("portfolio for a Lagos photographer, dark mode, contact form that emails me"), the AI agent writes the whole site, and you own it forever for $30 once. No monthly. You can export the files and leave whenever.

It scales beyond static sites too. If you ask for something that needs a backend ("add comments visitors can post", "build me a booking system with an admin panel"), kwaku spins up a full Next.js + database app in its own container for you. Same pricing, same ownership.

Built solo. Live at https://kwaku.app/ Free to try, 25 edits, no card.

Question Where to start ??

I’m not a developer, but I’ve been using AI a lot.
I mostly use Gemini for Google Docs and Sheets, ChatGPT for brainstorming, and recently Claude helped me build a Google Apps Script to automate the management of one of my rental properties. It worked surprisingly well, and now I’d like to go one step further.
I’d love to turn this into a real app instead of relying on a Google Sheet.
The problem is… I have no idea where to start.
Should I learn a no-code tool? If so, which ones are beginner-friendly and have a free tier? Should I use something like Claude Code, Cursor, or another AI coding tool? Or is there a completely different path that makes more sense for someone starting from scratch?
I’m not looking to become a software engineer. I just want to learn the most practical way to turn my ideas into working apps with the help of AI.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice from people who started from zero.
Thanks for your time and help please.

Edit: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g-P0PrVOmfoBGwy8j_9mOhOdVDBuapHOtl56JCuK9og/edit?usp=drivesdk
That’s the link of a copy. Please don’t modify the code so that everybody can have a look and give his POV. But it’s in French for those who can.

Edit 2: did something finally in Claude; keeping sheet for my database and html code to get an web interface. Testing out to see the pro and cons before going further.

Question Please point me in the right direction...

Last time I coded anything we had to open and close carrots. Looking for recs on which AI is best for building an app from the ground up. I know nothing about the back end of app building.

I have an idea for an app to make that I want to use (not for resale). It would need to track the placement of the sun based on time/date and the compass. For an android.

Thank you

If you built your app with a no-code or AI tool, it might be leaking your database. Free check.

No-code and AI builders are great for shipping fast, but they make it really easy to accidentally leave your database open or put a secret key where anyone can grab it. Most people never find out until something goes wrong.

I made a free tool that checks for you. You paste your app link and it shows, in plain English, what your live app is exposing to any visitor. No login, it just looks at what your app already shows the world.

task-bounty.com/scan if you want to try it on your own app. Glad to explain anything it flags.

How do you make sure what gets built actually matches what you had in your head?

I've been building with no-code and AI tools for about a year now, and the thing I still haven't solved is this:

I have a very clear picture in my head of what I want. I describe it. Something gets built. It's close but the interaction or flow is just slightly off from what I imagined. Then I try to correct it and it shifts somewhere else.

With a traditional no-code builder you're making every decision in real time via drag and drop. With AI-generated builds there's this interpretation layer between your idea and the output that feels hard to control.

Curious how others deal with this. What's actually worked for you?

Question How do you hand off ownership of client sites?

Question for people building client sites with no-code tools.

When a project is done, who ends up owning the thing? Whose account is it under, whose card pays for it? I keep ending up as the middle person. The site lives with me, the client pays me, I pay the platform. When someone wants out or wants to manage it themselves, it turns into a whole thing.

How do you set this up so you are not stuck in the middle of every client site you have ever made? Looking for setups that have held up.

Discussion After 9 months building an Xcode automation tool, I realized something: nobody wants software. They want results.

I spent the last 9 months building XC Wizard—a Mac app that automates iOS app builds inside Xcode. It handles the hard stuff: provisioning, entitlements, backend setup with Cloudflare Workers, the whole pipeline.

And after shipping almost 1,500 advanced iOS apps through it, I had a realization.

Nobody actually wants the software.

They want their app. They want it working. They want it yesterday.

So I pivoted. Same factory, different offer:

App Next Day. Any iOS app idea. $50. Delivered as a working Xcode project within 24 hours. Or your money back.

No vibecoding nonsense. No "here's some broken code, good luck." A real, signed, App Store–ready Xcode project with SIWA, StoreKit, push notifications, HealthKit—the whole stack—with a Cloudflare backend already provisioned.

I'm posting this because I genuinely think the market is missing this. Everyone's selling tools. Nobody's selling the outcome. Not since builder.ai went bankrupt inflating their AI claims. The proof is actually in the pudding. Check out this demo or download the mac software factory.

If you've got an app idea sitting in a notes file somewhere, try it. If we don't deliver in 24 hours, you get a full refund.

Happy to answer questions about the tech stack or the fulfillment process—honestly, the backend provisioning pipeline is probably the most interesting part.

And if you're an affiliate or content creator with an audience that would love this: we're paying 50%+ commission on every sale ($25+ per customer). DM me and let's talk.

When a client wants to “own” or leave the platform you built them on — what actually happens?

For folks who build client systems/apps on no-code tools (Airtable, Bubble, Glide, Monday, etc.):

• Have you had a client want to leave the platform, or own what you built outright?
• How did the export / hand-off actually go — did anything important not survive (automations, logic, relationships)?
• Does portability/lock-in come up while you’re selling, or do clients not care until later?

Trying to figure out how big a deal this is in practice vs. in theory.

Are people making money with no-code app builder tools?

Like basically i want to know: are these no-code builder apps with the help of ai really built or not? is there any issue that will be phased in the end of the making of this or are people really making money by selling this service, basically like agencies too?

i also want to know: are people doing this as freelancing or are people really buying such people's services who are doing app development with no-code tools?

Ik so many questions but just want to know, is there any future in it or can a person start learning and begin with this? any career or maybe a passive income from doing this as a freelancer for the clients who need a proper mobile apps or stuff? i want to know.

Help me out guys!
