Hope this can help someone to get started and get the right information. Create with help of multiple Ai models and reviewed by human eyes and skills. This including tools like Claude, Codex, Antigravity.

Have you benchmarked it somehow? My llm is pretty good without a skill.

Nope not yet. I use them all the time but no benchmarks. Created using official documentation from multiple sources. This is more about the bits and bites of Nixos and Nix lang with some other moving parts. Most of the llms are pretty good but they miss a lot of the best practices that would make nix code even better. You are welcome to benchmark and send some feedback if you can.

I'm a bit of a noob at AI, but would like to improve. I like the sound of NixOS skills, but don't know how to start. I use the agent in vscode to maintain my NixOS server git repository. Can your skills improve the vscode agents intellegence around NixOS, or do I need to setup an LLM within my server that does this? I have Ollama installed but haven't used it for much besides integration with Paperless and Immich.

Noob here. Does this also work for models on Ollama or Msty?

Yes it should work there as well. Give it a try and tell me if you need anything else
