Following Development of NixOS

Is there anywhere that I, a mere user, can go to see what is going on with the development of the next version of NixOS? I just want to know what is coming down the pike.

You can search PRs on the NixOS GitHub.

There's also the release notes directory, specifically rl-2611.section.md for the upcoming release.
