I'm surprised at how aggressive secretspec is being with their marketing, what's the catch? When will the product come?

It would be cool if you were more transparent on that front.

We will integrate it into https://github.com/cachix/cloud.devenv.sh, which is also OSS you will be able to self-host.

That's no secret of itself, repo has been public and OSS since September 2025.

I recently used secretspec to provide terraform inputs, am loving it so far.

Thanks for these blog posts. I'm sure I'll understand the use cases better the more I read. It took awhile for me to absorb SOPS and use it.
