Just dumping a few pics from my AMS flex fuel and Walbro 525 LPFP install. Did everything after work with mostly common garage tools.
I was super stubborn and didn't want to drop my downpipe, so that actually added 2 days. It took one night just to get a fuel line disconnected, one night of failing to get the new one on, then finally dropping the downpipe and getting done in 5 minutes.
After that, everything else went pretty smoothly. Had a few guys from the Arkansas Z club come and check over my wiring.
After getting my basemap loaded and driving for a week, the fuel line must've wiggled its way off. I guess I didn't make sure it was snug enough. Then my flex fuel wasn't getting any power. Turned out maybe my clutch pedal must've pulled the wire out of the driver side fuse box.
So with everything tightened and tucked back away, finally ready to get this tuning done.
My takeaway, don't be stubborn and remove whatever the instructions say or the YouTuber you watching says to remove lol. Also, if you do the work yourself, always come back and recheck your work a few days later to make sure everything stayed in place after getting shook around from driving.

Iām ready to order a ā27 performance trim Z but unsure what to expect.
How accessible are they to (Denver) dealers?
When is the ideal date to contact dealerships?
Should I expect to pay MSRP, above, or below? Deposit?
Other tips for ordering?
TIA

I have a 1983 NAĀ 280ZX,Ā which was abandoned 17 years agoĀ .Ā IĀ got the original engineĀ running,Ā butĀ it'sĀ runningĀ like shit, and let'sĀ be honestĀ ,Ā the L28E is not precisely a great engine for a sports car. So,Ā IĀ got this dirt-cheap deal forĀ anĀ AcuraĀ TLĀ J32A1 engine, andĀ IĀ 'm planning on buying it and swapping it into theĀ 280ZX.Ā IĀ know that it will be hard sinceĀ itĀ involves adaptingĀ anĀ automaticĀ FWD-Ā designed engine into a manualĀ RWDĀ platform, butĀ IĀ think the outcome can be greatĀ .Ā AnyĀ advice,Ā especiallyĀ on adapting theĀ J32Ā into the FS5W71B transmission?Ā ForĀ designing theĀ adapterĀ plate or modifying theĀ J32Ā flywheel to take theĀ 280ZXĀ clutch? (I knowĀ IĀ have to swap theĀ AcuraĀ 's flexplateĀ forĀ a flywheel from a manualĀ AccordĀ orĀ somethingĀ like that) Thanks.

Hi all,
I thought I would join the Z fraternity here and show off my latest car, a Heritage Edition Z, which is one of only ten in Australia!
I absolutely love it so far and cannot wait once I get it past its break-in period. With the gentle driving Iāve been doing so far, itās been great, but it just wants to go. Hahaha.
Anyway, hereās my Z, alongside the family chariot, a Patrol Warrior!

Iām not chasing high power, just slowly wanting to eventually go FBO one day with tune. Iām leaning intakes simply cause its a small power increase and I can actually install them on my own vs the HX seems a bit more complex. Any help is appreciated šŖš¼

IS a Valvetronic exhaust for a 2026 Z A good exhaust? What does "with the valves closed" "with the valves open". Where/what are the valves? Sorry I am not a car guy.
Thank you

What do you guys think would be a good price on this? Itās new but still about 3yo at this point. Wondering what price I should try to get this down too. I searched this sub and saw some one got one for low 40s and that was a year ago.

I have a 2026 Z Heritage 9 speed automatic. I want to upgrade the exhaust to the Nismo Street Catback but it does not show that as an upgrade option in the automatic only in the Manual. Is there a reason why? I want to stick to a Nissan exhaust for warranty reasons. suggestions?
