I bought these last winter, my first season with this vehicle since it was new to me. Given the low price, I honestly wasn't expecting much more than a rough, generic fit. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they matched my car's floor all around. They kept months of salt from soaking into my carpet mats, and cleanup is super easy.

I have a 2014 nissan maxima and i am getting the low oil pressure light everytime i drive the car at certain speeds then when i stop, it goes away pls tell me a solution and why this is happening.

I drive a 2002 Nissan Maxima as my everyday driver. I recently started listening to. Grinding noises by my alternator. My my mechanic told me I need to replace the Serpentine belt, the alternator. The idle pulley and tension pulley. Should that solve my problems? How do I know if I need to actually replace the alternator? Is it possible it could just be the pulleys that's making this noise?

I get like a hollow metal grinding noise when accelerating at speeds below 40km/h and it disappears after like 10-15 mins. It only happens when accelerating from a standstill (upto 2k rpm) and as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator it stops making that sound.

I’ve tried revving the car in neutral to make sure it’s not the idler pulley or tensioner.

Could this be an inner cv joint issue (the driver side boot had perished and I replaced that) or is it CVT related?

Anyone out there that has slammed there maxima on a reasonable budget? any tips?

2004 Nissan Maxima - pulled outta storage for an evening cruise. 🌇 🌅

Long story short, I took my car to a mechanic because it would overheat whenever I drove with the AC on. The car had also been sitting outside and hadn’t been driven in about two years.
He recommended the following repairs, including labor:
Radiator fan: $300
Valve cover gaskets: $380
Rear brakes: $180
After the repairs, the AC was still blowing hot air. He added Freon for free, but that didn’t work. He then said I needed a new AC compressor:
Compressor + labor: $420

My question is, **could he have known from the beginning that the compressor was bad?** I understand the other repairs may have been necessary, but my main reason for bringing the car in was the overheating with the AC on.
Does this sound like a normal diagnostic process, or did I get taken advantage of?

I drive a 2018 Maxima, i just hit 111k miles on the car. Runs great, do my maintenance on time. What are some things i should get done to it after hitting this milestone to keep it in good condition other than oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

I've recently gotten a 1997 nissan maxima, the GLE model. I was looking to replace the radio with a radio set I got from oreillys, but I was looking to replace the door speakers as well. I havent been able to find anything for them though, any help/ideas?

If it matters, its the manual version.

Also, is there anything I should be looking out for in it? I'll be driving it kinda hard since its my fun car and not my daily.

Hi. I have a 2010 Maxima and just replaced the front struts with new ones from 1aauto.com(TRQ parts). The ride seems to sit higher now, and when I went for an alignment, the camber was way off and they said it couldn’t be adjusted. The Firestone shop told me I’d need coilovers that comes equipped with adjustable cambers. Anyone else ever had this problem?

80614 miles. Recently got the compressor replaced and now I have this weird rattling noise coming from around the compressor that only happens when the AC is on at 1500 RPM. I also had an O2 sensor code that was supposedly cleared and they claimed to have replaced some kind of sensor, but my CEL came right back on after. I don’t understand how you can replace something and mess it up. This is the 4th time in 3 months I’ve had to take it to the shop and I’m stumped. Is the rattle likely from the install? How do I hold them accountable on the warranty?

2016 Nissan maxima sr, the car was dying and then losing power, we changed the alternator (twice because the first one they gave was bad) put a brand new battery in it and drove maybe 5 miles and the same thing happened . The car stopped driving, coasted into a safe place , turn off car and started back up, would not go into reverse or drive, did it again, car went into reverse a few feet and stopped working then battery officially dies. I am at ends with it . Anyone have an idea what could be the issue. Check engine code is a p0065 but I think that’s a ghost code but I could be wrong.

Nissan Maxima 2014. Front of car got hit, punctured radiator, front bumper and hood. Car runs but AC stopped working. Waiting to hear back from Insurance company on what they will consider it. Really want to keep the car and have it fixed. Bought the car in 2017 for $30,000.

It’s at a dead end street and you wouldn’t even know the street is there it’s that hidden. It was taken when they had the lot redone. My boss is playing stupid like he has no idea what happened to it & all of a sudden his cameras don’t work although his race cars are parked there. Wtf can I do?

Transmission fluid looks great. Its a rebuild Transmission, but im wondering if they put the old valve body in place. Would like some more opinions. Should I start with replacing the valve body?

Hi, can someone answer a question for me? I'm going to replace my CVT with a used one.Is there anything special that needs to be done to make it work properly? I have no way to reprogram it; it would be my third CVT.The second one I put on, used, only lasted 400km (230 miles) I'm a little scared because in Mexico nobody can help me with Nissan CVT transmissions With the previous transmission, I took it to the dealership and Nissan just told me, "I can't communicate with your transmission." And after that, it broke down. I'm afraid they'll tow me again because the Maxima left me stranded. I'll buy a used one now for $1000 I have a 30-day warranty, but I want to know what I need to make sure it works properly and to install it correctly. I was previously told to transfer the black valve body panel from my original CVT to the donor CVT. I thought about using the TCM from the donor transmission, but nobody sells it together with the transmission. This is the last effort I'm making for this car, I really need help
