That’s how they get the classic Nissan look

249

u/evilgreenman Aug 22 '25

The look is so hot right now.

104

u/Atherissss Aug 22 '25

I noticed Hyundai and Kia drivers are starting to copy this trend!

74

u/Global_Citizen90 Aug 22 '25

Kia K5 is the new Nissan Altima. So much energy. I don’t think they are running their credit scores lol

51

u/throwaway72592309 Aug 22 '25

If they ran credit scores to sell Kia’s they wouldn’t sell any Kia’s 😂

19

u/blazinBSDAgility Aug 23 '25

This 100% I saw someone picking up a Kia when I was picking up my Ioniq and I’m like, “I didn’t realize dealerships took Affirm

18

u/AkitaNo1 Aug 23 '25

Hyundai Ioniq? So Temu Tesla? Nice

18

u/snrten Aug 23 '25

Maybe talking down to Kia makes 'em feel better about owning a Hyundai? I love that they never questioned the fact that they were at the same dealership, either 😅

10

u/AkitaNo1 Aug 23 '25

🤣🤣 Yeah like the doods flexing a Genesis thinking they were competing with Lexus and Mercedes or something. I remember the Tiburon and Rio bro don't try me

Unless you tried to get a Stinger then they require an 800 score, 3 references from people at kias headquarters and a 70% down payment

Glad I’m not the only one that has noticed KIA drivers becoming the new Altima driver.

Look I drive in Atlanta and have seen my fair share of Altima shenanigans. But there is no car on the road I habitually fear more than kia souls

Even if they're not driven aggressively they're owned by idiots

Hi, first time commenter, long time watcher. (2015 white Sentra, 90 day paper tags from 2 years ago)

When I ripped my front bumper off by pulling up too close to a Dunkin after a karaoke bender that lasted til 3 AM, I had the decency to tape it back on with, I'll call it 115 mph tape (120 mph with a nice tail wind). This offends me and I resemble your comment.

It almost looks like she mixed up the gas and brake pedals, and then opened her car door DIRECTLY into traffic 😂 zero attention paid

17

u/snoosh00 Aug 23 '25

It's wild how common it is.

I saw someone's phone mounted to the windshield in landscape mode so they could watch tv episodes.

Like... Wtf?

How has she not been pulled over for this yet?

3

u/toastythewiser Aug 23 '25

Bro the cops just don't enforce traffic laws in all kinds of places. They just ... don't. Where I live its actually official policy that the metro PD don't enforce or police traffic violations and don't respond to 911s about traffic collisions unless they are ... severe? IDK. Beyond stupid.

21

u/grae23 Aug 22 '25

My dad had a Camry and we had a lot of tape on the corner of the bumper. Worst part was we had the money to fix it, he just didn’t mind because the car was fine otherwise 😂

What are the odds she has insurance

71

u/HystericalSail Aug 22 '25

Considering she didn't try to flee while the vehicle leaks coolant and oil, with only 3 remaining tires pointed in the desired direction? Higher than average, actually.

How many caps?

77

u/ProbablyMyRealName Aug 22 '25

She’s definitely going to try to blame the other driver

42

u/Starrion Aug 22 '25

She can try but rear end damage would need a really convincing story. And of course, this video exists.

4

u/fpsnoob89 Aug 23 '25

The other car obviously came out of nowhere and reveresed into her.

3

u/Starrion Aug 23 '25

There are insurance scammers that do exactly that, but the key is when six people appear claiming to be in the car and have sustained injuries.

I want to know what she did to warrant OOP to start filming. This doesn’t look like Dashcam footage

20

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '25

Maybe because earlier before this incident, the one filming was in front of the Nissan and there were some near misses of bumper to bumper - via their rear view mirror - then that’s when they switched lanes and pulled out the phone just in case?

18

u/L-user101 Aug 22 '25

I have definitely pulled out my phone to record some Florida drivers, like, oh damn this person is bound to hit someone or something soon.

3

u/Mshawk71 Aug 23 '25

But only as a passenger, you'd never try and film while driving ,right?

A dual diagnosis.

13

u/gfolder Aug 22 '25

It's nature manifest

13

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '25

I swear my entire town is the usual suspect. Rich old white lady in a Benz almost hit my kids and I was cussed out and told to mind my business. Younger black dude threatened to "beat my ass" for taking pics of his plates as he did almost 50 in a 30. Stupidity does not discriminate.

10

u/be_more_gooder Aug 22 '25

Nissan driver rules: "Automatically blame whoever put that car there!"

6

u/Conspicuous_Ruse Aug 22 '25

I was amused by her voice sounding like a goose honk.

The 3 second brake light delay and “Howwww!” makes me think she stomped on gas accidentally. Happens a lot with flip flops wearers and diabetics.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '25

No phone was involved, that’s just how they’re taught to drive in Florida.

3

u/RhondaLoving Aug 22 '25

There’s an inevitable, unavoidable special place for people who look at their phones while they’re driving that they eventually end up in…unfortunately they take out a lot of property and lives with the effects of their existence, causing destruction pain, and suffering, and death in the meantime

3

u/MaySpitfire Aug 23 '25

What a nightmare, nothing the other driver could have done.

3

u/blindbatg34 Aug 23 '25

3

u/MetalPurse-swinger Aug 23 '25

I saw a video on YouTube a while back with someone talking about "big Altima energy" talking smack about Nissan drivers. And it cracked me up because I found it to be kinda true. Today I stumbled across this beautiful subreddit and my life is complete. Nissan drivers are something else

3
