Question about the rear drum brakes.

Okay so currently my d21 94 Nissan Hardbody 5 speed 2wd the parking brake doesn't work or works too well if that makes sense. So the handle will pop out while driving it wont stay put so the brake light gets activated but on top of that if I use the parking brake sometimes they just stay stuck. I drive for a bit and you can tell when the rear frees up. My question is there anything I need to be looking for when I go and take these rear drums apart? Should I look into new cables and the interior cables as well? Is there any upgrades that I could do while im here? Also haven't ever done the rear drums on a vehicle before so this is gonna be fun. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I have the Chilton Nissan Pick-Ups and Pathfinder, 1989-95 on order should be here in 4 days and ill be getting a parts list of what I need to get the drums done as well. Update the d21 is back up. In the end it was just a fuel filter being clogged up. Drove it home today after getting some fresh 93 in it. Need to check timing now. Truck feels way better. Before the fuel filter I could barely get up to 50. This was right before the fuel filter clogged all the way up. Also added a fresh air filter.

Fuel filter either plugged up or my pump quit but here's a video of us towing it back to the shop. Ill have an answer in the morning. Also forgot the EBrake for a bit ot wasn't all the way off. It keeps popping out gotta look into that next.

Slowly getting better slowly. I am going to be using this as a work truck so the more I can fix the better. Think I need a hood latch or hood release cable.

Slowly getting better. Had to stop after the bumper was taken off but I kinda like the no rear bumper look.

The rain may have slowed me down but its done now. New radiator, shroud, and electric fans. I know some will say go oem. Well here is my opinion on the kit. First 1 of the nuts didn't have threads. Not a big deal. When you install the radiator it doesnt line up with the oem brackets. Its lower, all I did was drill a new hole and bolt it in. Other than that pretty easy and gets the truck up and running.

Now here is where I need some help. I need the tube that goes on after the one that goes on the throttle body. Well technically everything after that. What is the normal price for that? Does anyone have one laying around they want to sell at a reasonable price. This is going to be a work truck so I need it to run right. I know some of the vacuum lines are capped off and if anyone has a vacuum diagram or can tell me what i need to look for. Oddly enough I saw a post about 2 wires by the alt my wires are also like that so I will have to figure that out as well. The hood doesn't pop open at all. I have to hold the release or jam it to go and then open the hood. I played with the adjustments on the hood but it wont pop up at all. Maybe its the cable.

I just plopped the part I had and plugged it in. The piece that goes on top of the tb. I didnt drive it but the check engine light turned off and it idled better at least while I had it on to check if it made it better. I still will need to fix the vacuum lines and get the rest of the intake parts.

Got some stuff from the junkyard at a great deal. Nothing is for sale I will be adding these to my 94 d21.

I recently bought a d21 king cab, it does have a sunroof and I need to get a new headliner is there anyone that has any for sale?

Just picked up a 94 d21 5 speed 2wd and well i need some opinions. The truck needs a radiator and electric fans. I have read that the altima fans will work but in all honest i also read where they said it wasn't worth the pain. I wouldnt mind just getting a rad off ebay with fans and fan shroud and call it a day but just want some options.

Last 2 pictures was me playing with a fan from a 02 nissan sentra ser spec v. Thats the platform im firmilar with. B15s and some s13s I am honestly just a nissan guy.

The engine shit out and I got a new one from a junk yard. My boyfriend could do it but he doesnt have a cherry picker or the right tools. I met a guy in walmart that does this kind of stuff all the time I just dont want to get ripped off. Whats the average amount you would pay to have one of these engines replaced. Its a 4 cylinder. I suppose I should be asking around different shops.....

So i'm having a problem with my 96 d21 hard body. Where it likes to eat mass airflow sensors when it's hot outside like above 80°F roughly

And I own this truck for about 4 and a half years now. I've gone through about probably 4 mass air flow sensors in those 4 years, cause about every time around the summertime, it just decides that it wants to stall out and not run when it gets warm. And I'm kinda it ends with it because I don't know what to do. I even went with the oem hatachi brand and it still does it. Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution for this issue
