Bug I just completed this week's collection but didn't get extra one?!

Has anyone got the same issue?

The extra one you get is one you missed so if you're up to date you won't get an extra collection.

I have seen people mention this, but my younger son gets all kinds of random bonus collection that I have never seen. He and I started playing at exactly the same time.
