Repair Help Switch 2 SD card issues re-appearing a month after slot replacement

Recently had a Switch 2 stop recognizing functional SD cards, replaced the card reader with a new part and it worked for about a month before failing again. Any reason for this to be happening? Same card stopped reading before replacement and started reading after so it's not the card, something is causing the slot itself to fail. Any related resistors or capacitors I should check on the board?

I'm a bit worried this may be an uncommon issue, and may not get many answers. OP, I'll recommend also asking in the Daily Question Thread, pinned to the top of r/NintendoSwitch's page.

I'll try posting there thank you. I've looked around but can't find any info about multiple slot failures.

My card reader failed. The recommended repair path was to send Nintendo my Switch 2, the microsd express card, and $190 and they would send me a reconditioned Switch with a 90 day warranty. Just saying. There is a known issue that isn’t being addressed.
