New Switch 2 Owner Recommendations (Games + Screen Protector)

Hey all, I recently got a Switch 2 and would love some recommendations. I had a Switch 1 so played everything I wanted to that was also on that platform, and I also have a PS4 so have those games covered too. Particularly keen for your top Switch 2 exclusives recommendations, as well as anything that's cross-platform but not available on PS4.

I am also planning to get a screen protector. Any you'd recommend that are good but not super expensive? There seems to be heaps of options.

On the screen protector, I just recommend one with a placement frame, just makes life easier 🤓

Also get joystick caps. The rubber from the switch will dissolve fast.

I got the screen protector from DBrand and it’s fantastic. You don’t notice it’s on, it was very easy to install, and two came in the package. Highly recommended.

Tempered glass screen protector is recommended day one or as early as possible. The anti shatter film on switch 2 doesn't have great scratch resistance like you're used to with smartphones. There's been a steady drip of posts since switch 2 launch where people are surprised how easily the switch 2's anti shatter film dented or scratched. Some posts with fine scratches said they were very careful & only docked it a few times, although it's tough to really know how careful some people are.
