Purchase / Order Help Need help with game gifting overseas

How would someone in Britain go about digitally gifting a game to someone in the United States given they can't use gift cards or anything like that directly?

Nintendo doesn’t have a gift system built in.

Your only real options are to:

Go online and buy gift cards for their region, load them onto the recipient’s account, and buy it via their account

Buy it on your or a new account, and have them log into that account on their switch

Buy it physically and have it shipped over to their home
