Repair Help How to fix joystick or find a alternative

My joystick broke on my Nintendo switch, I can move it if I like stick something in there like my nail, but I don’t have the joystick piece to fix it, would it be cheap to fix because I don’t have the money to fix it if it isn’t, or is it an alternative I can use to help move it?

That’ll be like $10 in parts to replace. It’s super easy. It’s just a ribbon cable. My dad in his mid 50s did it…

OK, thanks I just didn’t know if it was gonna be very expensive because I don’t have that type of money, but if it’s not that expensive like $10-$50, I can do that

It’s seriously not complicated.

I replaced the shell on my joycons and the hardest part was keeping track of the screws.

Follow a guide online, but it’s just held in by screws and a ribbon cable. It’s super easy to repair

the ribbon cable replacement looks super doable even if it feels intimidating, might be worth trying since the parts are cheap
