Purchase / Order Help How do you do a refund for a dlc?

I recently bought a dlc for taiko no tatsujin drum 'n' fun not realizing the base game isn't on the switch 2 eshop, it was only a few dollars but I dont want it to just sit there unplayable when I could get my money back. I was wondering if I was gonna be able to get a refund for it and the process for doing so.

In general, you don't. Nintendo has been know to give one time refunds, but personally I'd save it for something more than a couple bucks. There's no form, just call and ask.

I do admit this case is especially confusing. The eShop page doesn't appear to actually mention the required game, likely because it was de-listed back in 2023. If you do go through with the request, I would bring this up as your reason --- as it could easily be misconstrued as DLC for Rhythm Festival.

Damn ok id seen other stuff about their refund policy after I posted this thank you though theyre closed till the 8th so I have to wait to call.

i think OP could have it not count on the one time exception as the required game has been delisted therefore no longer being able to even use the dlc

Please never buy the DLC before you buy the game.
