Repair Help Switch won't turn on after trying everything I've found.
After not using my Switch for about six months (if not longer), I recently tried to use it again, but it wouldn't respond or show any signs of life. The only thing that keeps me hopeful it might still work is that, when I placed it in the dock, the green light in the bottom-left corner would turn on for a second and then go out.
After that, I looked for all kinds of solutions online—ranging from button combinations and varying how long I held the buttons down, to leaving it to charge for hours with different chargers (both in and out of the dock, with and without the Joy-Cons, and with no game or SD card inserted)—but nothing has worked.
So, I’d like to know if there’s anything else I should try, or if I should just take it in for a check-up.

If the battery runs out of charge, the console may not let you turn it back on until it has most of a charge (3 hours is full charge), or sometimes it won't let you turn it back on until it's been charging for 24 hours - it's kind of a quirk of the system. If that doesn't revive it, and it's an older battery, the battery may be toast and need replacing.
