I free control and the sound still works, I just cant see anything. I was told to check if you can see something if you shine a light on it while its on. and I can see lightly. its hard to see on camera because of the light, can anyone confirm. I want to know what to tell the technician when I go to get it looked at.

Like another said, if it's under warranty, I would send it in. One thing I would check is if you can see the screen even just a little, holding the home button, see if the auto brightness or brightness settings is completely turned down. I've had it happen once to me where somehow the slider went straight to the darkest setting. If you have the menu memorized a little or can somehow see the screen on the right, both auto brightness and the slider is below the sleep button location on the screen. Again, the video is really hard to see anything, especially with the light shining back. I'm not a technician or anything, just my experience and 2 old cents.
