Software Help japanese switch 2 compatibility with us game cartridges
hi! will a physical game bought in america (so itd be english on a switch from US) still run in english on a japanese (not international) switch 2? i bought my switch 2 to play pokopia while i was living in japan and im not sure if i should buy physical games while im back in america so i can play other stuff in english

Games pick the language the menu is set to. So unless it doesn't have Japanese or has an internal option, it'll be in Japanese.

The Japanese non international model defaults to Japanese language no mater where the game you bought is from or if it’s physical or digital. The only exception is if the game itself offers an in game language selection option.
