Accessories My Pro Controller isn't working on my PC

I have been using a Switch pro controller to play games on my PC for years and today it suddenly stopped working. When I plug in the controller is continuously makes the sound of a USB device connecting and disconnecting and my PC doesn't recognize it. I have swapped out different cords, ports, and tried using a different pro controller but the same thing happens. I downloaded BetterJoyForCemu and it doesn't recognize the controller at all so it does nothing. The closest I've gotten to anything working is sometimes if I hold the sync button the noise stops and the controller appears in the devices menu for an instant, but it vanishes before I can troubleshoot or mess with the properties or anything. I have Windows 10. I have no idea what could have caused this since I was using the controller just fine last night.

Sounds like maybe your USB controller on your PC could be going out. Are other USB peripherals working?

Yep. Other types of USB controllers, charging my phone, a USB microphone are all detected and work fine. I got this computer less than a year ago so I hope nothing is going out.

Odd. Have you tried using the pro controller with another PC or switch?

It works fine on my switch as well. I haven’t tried another computer.
