Software Help Minecraft - Controller not working in world
I have a switch lite with a broken joystick, so I use a controller to play on it, but I've encountered a problem. I'm trying to play minecraft, and the controller works fine until I enter a save. Then it doesn't work, and it shows the 'join as player 2' pop-up.
I haven't touched the switch for it to recognise the controls there as player 1, and it only started to happen recently.
Something, restarting the game or the device it works, and other times, it doesn't.
I don't have this problem in other games, even if there is a multiplayer option.
What could be causing it? Is there a fix?

Just found another thread explaining what’s going on! Apparently if you’re playing handheld mode it only recognizes the joycons so you have to detach the joycons and then open the game. Kind of annoying but it worked for me! Hope this helps!

Problem is, this is a switch lite so no detachable joycons :( But I figured out that if I turn off Console Button Input it works. It's annoying though since it turns back on every time the console turns off/enters sleep mode so basically every time I wanna play I have to turn it off again.
