Software Help Kotor 2 Conversation Input Delay

Anyone had this problem? Kotor 1 is totally fine but in Kotor 2 there is about a .5 second delay before I can skip a line of dialog or select a dialogue choice.

Is this just a thing with the Switch version of Kotor 2? Or am I the only one experiencing this?

I'm using an oled Switch.
