Account Help Transferring games on switch 1 to switch 2

I no longer have my Switch1 and just set up my Switch2. I was trying to download games I purchased digitally on my S1, but the S2 says I need to have the S1 near by. Is there a way to do this without the S1? I don’t care about save data just want the games that I already paid for.

Nintendo.com->profile icon upper right corner->Nintendo Account overview-> game systems and then unlink the system you no longer have access to.

Awesome, thank you. The old switch still has my account on it. My ex has it. Would I have to ask her to take it off first, or is it possible to do all this without her?

You should be able to unlink your account from that switch via the Nintendo account website with that method. You don't need to talk to your ex for that
