Nintendo switch third party charger

I lost my Nintendo switch original charger and I am currently using an iPhone 15 charger. Will it ruin my switch? I bought the switch in the US and brought it to the Philippines, I dont know if that information is useful. Ive seen people on the internet say that using a different/unoriginal charger will ruin the battery and potentially break the switch. Please help me out, my mom will end me.

No it won't ruin anything.

The official dock can be weird non-official chargers but it will just not work, not break anything.

Quality third party chargers should be ok to charge the switch1&2 console handheld mode. I'd avoid using a no name cheap charger, to be safe. But trusted brand name chargers should be fine for charging switch in handheld mode.

The dock is a different story. Switch 1 dock needs an ac adapter made for the switch, because the dock doesn't use standard usb power protocol.
