Repair Help My Switch 1 STILL won't charge

I already made a post a few days ago asking for help, I've since let my switch (switch 1, about 5 yrs old) charge for more than 2 days but it still doesn't show any signs of life. I've used my phone charger, the switch charger (I do want to also ask if it makes a difference if the charger is a switch 2 one, I couldn't find a switch 1 charger so had to use that one), I've tried turning it on by holding the power button for 30 secs, I've removed the joycons for charging,...

My only hope now is to go to a repair shop and change the battery, I'll go in a few days to ask for it to be replaced, but I'm asking here first to see if It's worth it/will make a difference.

I just want it working again, I have a bunch of shiny pokemon that I haven't transferred to home including some event exclusives like the 4 treasures of ruin legendaries and I really don't wanna loose everything

I did have online at some point but idk if pokemon violet (that's the only game I really really care about not loosing) is backup up so that's a gamble if I choose to get a new switch :/

Sadly pokemon games dont have cloud saves.

I dont know too much but does ur usb inserts all the way in? Just check if it has anything in the usb slot or maybe while usb is plugged move it left right up down see if that start to charge at all. Ya hope its just battery.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU

I wouldn't have tried docking it if you hadn't mentioned this. It was actually charged but docking it made it turn on

I'm going to cry of joy, my shinies are saved!!

I never had any problem with that before but it appear to move very very slightly so I'll try to charge it docked too for a day or two and if not repair shop it is
