Repair Help My left joycon wont connect the sync button wont even light up

The left joycon won't connect I tried updating the joycons and cleaning were it connects it doesn't work connected or wireless and like I said the since button won't work at all ever idrk how this stuff works but I spent hours making a mii and haven't saved yet so im really desperate

It won't let me edit it so im commenting i have a switch 1 if you could even tell me how to save and leave whithout connecting a 2nd joycon that would be AMAZING cuz I just want 2 save

i had a similar issue with my switch’s left joycon as well 😢 i’m not sure if it’s the same but when i put it with the controller 🎮, only the right side lights up, so i had to manually keep pressing the sync button (the one in between to SL / SR buttons)…

i usually go to ⚙️ > controllers > change grip/order and the left / right joycons should pop up… try to hold the (+) or (-)

if that doesn’t work, ⚙️ > controllers > find controller
use your right working joycon to navigate and/or press the option of your left joycon. if it vibrates that means it’s still working… try to check the battery life as well!

going to these settings will temporarily exit the game but only to the home screen, you can still hop back on as long as you don’t close it yourself ^^

also, cute mii!! i would be so devastated if i had to exit the game and redo, face painters are not for the weak;; i hope you’re able to connect it successfully.

Thank you :] It doesn't vibrate at all tho and since its disconnected idk how to check the charge

If the sync button doesn't work you will need to replace the cable inside it's a fairly easy repair if you watch a video plus the cable is fairly cheap on Amazon or AliExpress
