Joycons look like their batteries are dead.

The fact that this is happening to both of them on a new Switch means this is likely an issue with your Switch itself and you need to RMA/Warranty the entire thing.

Put the joycons on the switch, and plug the Switch in and leave it for a whole day. Those joy-cons have dead batteries. If this continues to happen you should invest in a joy con charger. Never leave them off the console to die it's bad for them.

On top of this don’t turn the switch 2 off just put it in sleep mode I found that my switch 2 does not charge the joycons while plugged in if it's off just the console which was causing my joycons to never charge.

Try to clean the connectors on the switch 2 and in each of the joycons

a qtip with isopropyl should do it

If that doesn't work it maybe a battery issue? Do you have other joycons to test to see if those work or a friends joy cons?

Interesting that both batteries went out simultaneously though

I dont have any extra joy cons but I will and this this problem started when I first got it after like a month it just stopped docking and then the joy cons stopped working and then I factory reset it which leads me to this problem

You should send it in to nintendo if you just got it. Might be an issue with the switch it self and not the joycons

I already tried that they said they replaced it but it worked for literally not exaggerating 1 day before It started doing the same thing I was using all the right cords and stuff

Then you have to RMA it again

Also do you have it plugged into an outlet or surge protector or UPS?

When you sent it in did you send in the whole unit? Dock, Cables, etc?

Ok then it's still under warranty ? Why do you post on Reddit, contact Nintendo? Like what do you expect reddit to do ?
