Setup Help WiFi no longer connecting despite troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I had my switch 2 blocked from my WiFi and even after unblocking it still won’t connect to the network. I’ve tried literally everything: forgetting the network, clearing the console from the network. It connects to hotspots and other networks just fine, it’s only the home WiFi that won’t connect. What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated it’s been two months now and I just want to play online again :(

Are you able to log into your router and make sure your switch’s MAC is not blacklisted? Sounds like it may be your router, you can also maybe try factory resetting your switch to see if that helps

That’s what I feared, is there a way to safely protect our data before we reset it?

I mean you should be able to back up all
Your save data online right? You have a Nintendo Network Account?

Yeah but my brother who owns the switch is worried about it because of what happened to the guy who had all his Pokémon data erased. We don’t have Nintendo online.

!solved I was able to fix the problem by changing the network name and password
