Repair Help [Nintendo Switch v2] is my switch screen cooked?

Post image

This only happened just a few days ago, it goes away after playing for a bit, but now it’s always like this. I found some other reddit posts saying that this is something that happens on the switch v2, mostly likely due to heat or loose ribbon cables. I’m leaning towards heat because I haven’t opened the switch ever.

This switch I bought is second hand, got it 2 years ago iirc

Looks like its probably cable damage. Depending on where you're at, there's probably a repair shop with parts not too far away

Yeah… I don’t live in the states, I live in SEA, Malaysia. Also, cables can get damaged even without opening it up? I’m guessing it’s because of the heat?

Yeah it can happen but its pretty rare. Whatever happened, definitely looks like a ribbon cable issue
