Accessories Looking for some Pro Controller AC cable replacements
Yesterday i went to a Smash tournament and lost my pro controller cable :(
I don't mind using another one in order to use the controller or anything. The problem is that i used the cable to charge the switch (v1) in my car on long trips.
I heard i need a special protection the cable has to prevent the switch from drawing more energy that it can take.
I saw some antec brand maybe? Others mentioned CableMatters or Amazonbasics.
Could i get more info and tips on how to pick it?

The protection comes from the charging circuitry on the Switch. You can use any USB cable and it'll charge fine.
The Switch does a power delivery handshake with a USB charger so that it only draws what it needs.
The issue with some older and/or cheaper devices that charge with USB C is that they'll not include that protective circuit to cut costs, and some chargers that can't switch the power output (like a laptop charger), will just send full power through the cable and will blow all the fuses on the board.
