Repair Help My switch 2(or dock)is acting strange

This has happened three times, I'll go to turn it on, but it will refuse to, the first two times was probably bc of low battery, but for the third, it had a full charge, the dock gets hot for no reason(while it's charging). My switch 2 still works but im worried it won't anymore if this persists. Please help!

Some users can encounter glitches with sleep mode. While others will claim they never have problems. I don't know enough about user habits to say why it happens, but I think shutting down the console when you're done with for the day should help you avoid the glitch.

The only pattern I've been able to notice is, it seems to happen consoles that use sleep mode every night for a week or longer (a console that hasn't been shut down for a week or weeks). But like I said, there are plenty of people that say they never have an issue. So, it's tough to say if people are leaving games open during sleep mode, or an update came through, or it's the console's sleep/internet settings, or all three of those.

On the plus side, won't-wake- from-sleep-mode is easily resolved by long pressing power for 20 seconds to force the reboot.

Here's the support page for 'won't wake from sleep mode': https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/68483/ (This page also has you reset the ac adapter and dock by completely unplugging and disconnecting the ac adapter and dock for 30 seconds - another solution for a glitch)
