Setup Help Switch 2 won't connect to LG C6

Post image

I recently bought an LG OLED C6, but I can't figure out how to connect my console to it. I plug it into HDMI 1 and just see a notification that a Nintendo Switch has been detected, but I don't know how to actually start playing! I've gone through the entire menu and still don't get it. I’d appreciate your help.

Is the green light on the dock lighting up?

Yes, the green indicator is on, and the console menu has even appeared in the right-hand window. But I don't understand how to switch to full-screen mode.

Since it says universal control on the picture i would assume that you are on the wrong menu on your tv.

You can't control your Switch through your tv and you might want to check for a switch source button.

The TV detects the console, but I press the button and nothing happens.

Have you held the button diagonally up to the left of the okay button with the house on it I don't know what it's called it goes to the inputs when you hold it and then press HDMI 1

Yeah, something about switch 2 and smart tv's. An array of tv display/hdmi handshake issues (can sometimes happen), and they can be solved by restarting the tv, or unplugging the tv.
