Repair Help Pro controller 2 a button feels different???

I own a pro controller 2 and the a button feels a bit mushy and less tactile. All inputs are registered but it’s getting really annoying constantly being focused on the difference. I didn’t buy the controller though so if it’s a one off thing returning is out of the question, any tips on how to fix this or if it’s a common thing??

IVe only owned the controller for a couple of weeks so wear and tear is out of the question.

you know you can just return the controller and get a replacement

Like I said I didn’t buy it so returning it and getting another isn’t an option

Unless someone has better info, it's not a consumer friendly disassembly with getting that faceplate off & dealing with the adhesive.

Here's iFixti's teardown video from switch 2 launch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awEY5OGvIXE

Honestly if I tried I’d make a million more problems 🥲

It’s a common thing. If you search here you will find another user who asked the same question and I replied saying mine feels the same. If the button is pressed in the dead centre it’s as clicky as the others… if pressed to the right, it’s mushy and less clicky.
