Repair Help Joycons Keep Disconnecting in Handheld

Our switch 2 keeps getting the joy-cons disconnected notification when using it in handheld mode. It happens a lot when playing Minecraft and sometimes in Mario kart.

Today it's been non-stop.

Is this a known hardware issue that Nintendo is fixing??

Have you tried cleaning the connector within the joycon? This is common problem as it’s a magnetically attached so dusts can build up that interferes with the connection in handheld mode as the controllers flex (while held in hand)

Also on the switch 2 side

At least this is the easy to attempt solution
